Depending on a customer’s business needs and service footprint, customers can choose to have Switchless Outbound Long Distance (LD) service, Carrier Termination, End User Dedicated Outbound LD or a combination of the three services. Switchless Outbound LD customers will submit all ANIs electronically via the customer web portal, Portfolio. ANIs are loaded directly to the Verizon Enterprise switches allowing customer to take advantage of the Verizon Enterprise network within a short timeframe. In the submittal process, customers choose to have Verizon Enterprise PIC the ANI on their behalf or choose to do the PICing on their own with the LEC. In addition to order management, Portfolio provides customers a fast and easy way to manage their inventory of ANIs. Carrier Termination and End User Dedicated Outbound LD customers simply order the number of DS-1s and/or DS-3s necessary to support their expected traffic. Upon completion, customers begin routing traffic over these trunks for worldwide termination on the Verizon Enterprise network.

There are two types of rating options listed below that are available to help Verizon Wholesale customers manage your long distance services. Please contact your Verizon sales team for more information on the below options and to discuss rates and charges.

OCN Billing

Operating Company Number Billing (OCN) incorporates a domestic rate structure based on 'OCN' of local exchange carrier (LEC) within a state or U.S. Local Access Transport Area (LATA). With rates based on the underlying cost structure associated with ‘OCN’, OCN based billing can help you maintain a competitive position in the marketplace.

Transcend

Transcend allows the purchase of transport on the Verizon fiber-optic network separately from LEC charges. The unbundling allows you to see component charges separately in the call detail records and invoice management reports. Each portion of the call appears and is reported in three separate pieces including: LEC originating charges (LEC Access), the portion of the call that is transported on the Verizon long distance network (Transport), and the Local Exchange Carrier terminating access charges (LEC Egress).
