Add Verizon Customers to Your Directory

Customers expect to receive complete and accurate telephone directories for reference. Verizon helps directory publishers meet that expectation through our Publisher Lists products and services.

As one of the largest premier telecommunications companies in the world, Verizon listings come directly from our database daily. We can provide listings to you as an Extract and/or an Update. An Extract gives you a snapshot of our white pages database at a given date in time. The Updates provide you with current information on new service orders, customer changes, moves and more. You can request Updates on a daily, weekly or monthly basis.

Verizon's Publisher Lists allow you to choose the Extracts and Updates you prefer based on a range of selection criteria that varies by state. Selection criteria includes, for example, NPA/NXX, business, residence, government and foreign listings, toll free numbers and others.

How It Works

In most areas, you obtain Verizon Publisher Lists by entering into a license agreement with us. Your order is usually processed within 30 days of the date we receive your request.

Applications

Use Verizon's size and experience to gain access to listing information from over 60 percent of the U.S. That translates to some 32 million listings.
Using our Publisher Lists, you can offer directories in many customer pleasing formats, including print, CD-ROM and on the Internet.

Listings for: California, Connecticut (limited number of area codes/NXXs available), Delaware, Florida, Maryland, Massachusetts*, New Jersey, New York*, North Carolina (Knott's Island area code/NXX 252/429 only), Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Texas, Virginia, and Washington D.C.*

Verizon provides listing data to telephone publishers for use in the publication of a directory. In order to purchase Verizon's Publisher List Products, a customer must first enter into a license agreement with Verizon.

Orders require 30 days for processing from the date the order is received.

Updates:

Service order updates are the changes to our listings occurring in the Verizon Directory Database since the customer's original extract pull. Updates are available on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis.

Price Per Unit: $0.06 Per Listing

* Indicates states where ITC (Independent Telephone Company) listings are included.

Features

I. Extract Listings

Extract Listings (as noted in the license agreement as Full File Extracts) are a "snapshot" of Verizon's White Page Publishing database based on the criteria selected by the customer. This includes the telephone subscriber�s name, listed address, and telephone number. The telephone subscriber determines how the "listed address" will appear when the telephone service is established.

IA. Extract Selection Criteria

Verizon Full File extract criteria can be tailored to meet an individual publisher�s needs. Brief descriptions of available Full extract criteria are as follows:

Extract by Area Code/NXX: Listings by specified area codes/NXXs. Available for Full Extracts in all Verizon states.
Extract by Complete Directory: All listings that are scoped to a specified Verizon directory. Available for Full Extracts in all Verizon states.
Extract by NPA/Locality: All listings with a specified NPA and locality name. Available for Full Extracts in NY, MA and RI.
Extract by NPA/Book: All listings with a specified NPA and book. Available for Full Extracts in all Verizon states.
Extract by Book/NPA/Locality: All listings with a specified book, NPA and locality name. Available for Full Extracts in NY, MA and RI.
Business Listings: Business listings by complete directory, area code/NXX or locality (MA, NY and RI only). Available for Full Extracts in all Verizon states.
Residence Listings: Residence listings by complete directory, area code/NXX or locality (MA, NY and RI only). Available for Full Extracts in all Verizon states.
Government Listings: Government listings by complete directory or by area code/NXX. Available for Full Extracts in most Verizon states (not available in MA, NY or RI).
Toll Free Listings: Listings with a toll free area code (i.e. 800, 866, 877, 888, etc.). Available for Full Extracts in all Verizon states.
Foreign Listings: Listings not local to a Verizon directory, but scoped to that directory by customer request. Available for Full Extracts in all Verizon states.
Complete Captions: All listings in a caption are included as long as at least one of the listings in the caption contains one of the specifically-requested area code/NXX combinations.
Reformatted Captions: Captions will include only listings that contain the area code/NXX combinations of the specifically-requested area codes/NXXs.

Note: Due to changes in Verizon data security measures, transmission of data files via e-mail and non-encrypted FTP has been phased out. II. Update Listings

Update Listings (as noted in the license agreement as Update Product) are the changes occurring in the database since the customer's original extract purchase. Updates are available on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. Updates include subscriber names, addresses and telephone numbers.

Verizon Update extract criteria can be tailored to meet an individual publisher�s needs. Brief descriptions of available update extract criteria are as follows:

Extract by Area Code/NXX: Listings by specified area codes/NXXs. Available for Updates in all Verizon states.
Extract by Complete Directory: All listings that are scoped to a specified Verizon directory. Available for Updates in all Verizon states.
Extract by NPA/Locality: All listings with a specified NPA and locality name. Available for Updates in NY, MA and RI.
Extract by NPA/Book: All listings with a specified NPA and book. Available for Updates in all Verizon states.
Extract by Book/NPA/Locality: All listings with a specified book, NPA and locality name. Available for Updates in NY, MA and RI.
Business Listings: Business listings by complete directory, area code/NXX or locality (MA, NY and RI only). Available for Updates in all Verizon states.

Record Orders: Directory listing data reflecting "out" and "in" activity that changes class of service. Available only for Updates in all Verizon states.
Disconnect Orders: Directory listing data reflecting "out" listing disconnects. Available only for Updates, and in all Verizon states.
Move "From" Orders: Directory listing data reflecting "out" (move from) activity for move orders.
Move "To" Orders: Directory listing data reflecting "in" (move to) activity for move orders.
