Verizon’s Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) Gateway Service offers you a single platform for transporting Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) media between IP networks and the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN). Our service positions you to attract new business and encourage customer loyalty with a complete telephony service including local calling, directory listings, directory assistance, operator services, E-911 access, and long distance transport and termination.
Time to market using SIP Gateway Service is quick and easy. Simply own, support, and manage subscriber calling features via your soft switch and/or feature server – then count on Verizon to do the rest. SIP Gateway Service makes generating new revenue streams easy for you!
Verizon's SIP Gateway Service accepts media traffic signals using native SIP over Verizon Dedicated Internet Access products or other vendor's Internet Access services. Our service interoperates with SIP on other networks so that your subscriber services are seamless. Multiple configuration options give you the flexibility to customize your service offerings to meet customer needs.
SIP Gateway Service provides origination of local and long distance calls from the PSTN to Verizon's extensive VoIP network. Termination of both local and long distance calls (domestic, international, or both) from the Verizon VoIP network to the PSTN also leverages Verizon's expansive domestic and international TDM network.
The Verizon SIP Gateway Service network addresses over 75% of the U.S. population across the 2500+ rate centers supported. Please contact your Verizon account manager for further details on availability.
