Your residential customers can order everything they need for high-speed, voice and television viewing directly from you.

Adding Wholesale Advantage with DIRECTV to your customer service offerings is easy for you. DIRECTV provides the discounted video packages that you sell to your residential subscribers – and Verizon processes your orders and distributes the new order commissions from DIRECTV to you. Wholesale Advantage with DIRECTV helps you build customer retention and loyalty while delivering a new revenue stream that is hassle-free.

How It Works

First, Verizon Wholesale Advantage customers must sign a sales agent agreement with DIRECTV. Once this is done, Verizon will update the Wholesale Advantage customers LSI and WISE system ordering interfaces, enabling DIRECTV ordering capabilities. Verizon's systems will validate your DIRECTV status information and will process your requests for service via our DIRECTV Ordering Tool. The DIRECTV Ordering Tool determines the end users credit worthiness, submits the provisioning and billing information, orders the equipment, checks the order status, provides a gateway to DIRECTV product information, cancels orders and reschedules appointments. Placing the order with your residential end user on the phone is quick and easy. When your subscribers require service calls, changes in service, billing or programming information, they simply call DIRECTV.

Description

Verizon Partner Solutions is offering its Wholesale Advantage Customers the option to order DIRECTV® service for their residential end users through Verizon systems. This offer is available to those Wholesale Advantage Customers who reach an agreement with DIRECTV to be its sales agent. DIRECTV will handle installation of its service, end user billing and maintenance for its service. Once DIRECTV has notified Verizon it has reached an agreement with a Wholesale Advantage Customer, then the Verizon ordering interfaces will be updated accordingly within 7 business days. Under this arrangement the Wholesale Advantage Customer will use Verizon's DIRECTV Ordering Tool to order DIRECTV® service via Verizon’s LSI/WISE web interfaces. Use this presentation to learn more.

Availability

DIRECTV service through Verizon Partner Solutions is available throughout the Verizon footprint for residential end users, as long as the Wholesale Advantage Customer has reached an agreement with DIRECTV to be its sales agent.

Pricing

Contractual Arrangements: It is a prerequisite for any Wholesale Advantage Customer who wishes to sell DIRECTV® service under this arrangement to have signed a Wholesale Advantage contract. Wholesale Advantage Customers interested in becoming sales agents for DIRECTV must first contact their Verizon account manager. Appropriate DIRECTV contact information will then be provided to Wholesale Advantage Customers that have signed the Wholesale Advantage contract and meet any other applicable criteria.

Features

DIRECTV product information can be found within DORIS Sales. DORIS is a DIRECTV online resource tool that is accessible to Wholesale Advantage Customers. It contains product information about DIRECTV including programming packages, promotions, equipment, billing information, required call components and channel line-ups. DORIS is accessed via the DIRECTV Ordering Tool.

Detailed Information

DIRECTV® service available through this Verizon Partner Solutions arrangement and is not a standalone product. The end user must have Wholesale Advantage voice or Wholesale Advantage voice with Verizon DSL service in place prior to ordering DIRECTV® service, or place orders for such service concurrently.

DIRECTV will bill the end user for DIRECTV products and services (including programming and equipment). Once the account is established, revisions to the account (such as a change in programming levels or equipment upgrades) can be made by the end user either by calling DIRECTV at 1-800-531-5000 or by visiting www.directv.com and selecting “Manage Your Account.”

If an order is being placed for an end user in a leased or rented unit, the end user must obtain landlord permission to install a DIRECTV system in the building. A link to "The Landlord Permission Form" will appear on the “End User Info” tab if the DIRECTV Ordering Tool confirms the address is a multi-dwelling building. The form will need to be presented to the technician on the day the service is installed. Multi-dwelling buildings require additional qualifications, such as the presence of a balcony or equivalent, a South West exposure, etc.

On the date of installation, an authorized person at least 18 years of age must be at the location. This person must be authorized to make programming and installation choices.
