LSI-TA Dispatch Recommendation Tool


This tool maps the Test Result Code to the Trouble Type Code and indicates a recommended Override Handling Code, which provides a dispatch recommendation to Verizon. The dispatch recommendation tells Verizon whether to dispatch a technician to the customer premise or to the Verizon Central Office.

For Trouble Ticket Create requests, Verizon requires users to fill in the following codes.
  • Test Results (Line Test) Code
  • Trouble Type Code
  • Override Handle Code
These codes indicate the following to Verizon:
  • Whether service on the line is affected (AS), or if the line is out of service (OS)
  • Whether Verizon should dispatch a technician to the end customer's premises (Dispatch Out) or to the Verizon Central Office (Dispatch In)
