Carrier Access Billing System (CABS)—processes service orders for UNE CLECs and Interexchange carriers, renders bills and other billing media, posts payments and adjustments, and updates the Customer Service Record (CSR).

Customer Record Information System (CRIS)—processes service order information and cash transactions (i.e., deposits, cash payments, adjustments, etc.), updates the CSR base, calculates billing, and provides internal reports. CRIS acts as the master record base for customer record information.
