Platform |

Definition
Unbundled Network Element Platform (UNE-P) combines elements that can be used to build a variety of platforms.
Billing for Platform
Platform is billed out of CABS in the North. In the South all Platform is billed out of CRIS, except Transport Usage Charges which are billed out of CABS. Verizon follows the OBF Regulated Standards. Platform customers also receive Daily Usage Files (DUF) to assist in billing their end users.

Facilities Based CLECs purchase Unbundled Network Elements (UNEs), Switched and Special Access.

Facility Based CLECs will receive both Local and Access bills.

Definition
Data Local Exchange Carrier (DLEC) is a carrier that primarily transports Data with no voice grade services.
Billing for DataLEC
DLEC bills will have UNE Loop, Collocation and other UNE elements on their bill. Their bills will both be SBNs and BANs.

Resale |

Definition
Basic Resale service allows the CLEC to offer business and residential customers a complete communications package. This includes Single Line Service for residential customers, known as plain old telephone service (POTS), toll-free numbers, and more complex services for business customers.
Billing for Resale
Resellers in the North will receive bills generated out of CRIS. Resellers in the South will receive bills generated out of CRIS in NJ, PA and DE and expressTRAK¿ for MDVW. Resellers may also receive Daily Usage Files (DUF) to assist in billing their end users.

Definition
Verizon offers various types of Collocation: Scope, Physical, Virtual, Cageless, and Competitive Alternative Transport Terminal (CATT). Collocation is a product that is ordered out of the Federal Access Tariff or Local State Tariffs.

Billing for Collocation depends on the Tariff under which it was ordered.
