Pre-Order Transactions: Address Validation Inquiry

Overview
The Address Validation Inquiry allows the CLEC to validate an end user's address.
When to Use
The Address Validation Inquiry is used prior to submitting a Local Service Request (LSR) for service at a new location, prior to making changes to existing service and prior to moving service to a new location.
How to Complete
The required fields for submitting this inquiry are "Customer Carrier Name Abbreviation," "Company Code," "State," "Transaction Number," "LSOG Version," "Service Address Street Name," "City," "State," "Zip Code" and all other appropriate address fields.

Responses from Verizon
The response will provide address and local service office information that validates the end user's address. The response will also include information indicating if the address match is exact. The response may also indicate if Fiber is present at the address. The FCI field (Fiber Capability Indicator) will identify if Fiber is available. Valid entries are Y (Yes), or N (No) to indicate the presence of fiber.
The address validated in Pre-Order must match the address on the LSR. If the RESID is populated on the LSR form in Ordering, the service will be provisioned at the address validated in Pre-Order, even if a user enters a different address on the LSR.
