The Feature Service Availability Inquiry provides information about the availability of Verizon's products and services in a particular serving central office.
When to Use
The Feature Service Availability Inquiry is used to determine the availability and compatibility of products and services for an end user's location.
How to Complete
The required field for the Feature Service Availability by Address is "Features Availability." The required fields "Company Carrier Name Abbreviation," "Company Code," "State," "Transaction Number," "Transaction Activity," and "Transaction Type" will be automatically returned using the information from the address validation transaction. An Address Validation must be completed prior to submitting the Feature Service Availabilty Inquiry.
The required fields for the Feature Service Availability by NPA/NXX are "Features Availability" and the "NPA/NXX". The required fields "Company Carrier Name Abbreviation," "Company Code," "State," "Transaction Number," "Transaction Activity," and "Transaction Type" will be automatically returned.
The required fields for the Feature Service Availability by Working Telephone Number are "Features Availability" and "Working Telephone Number." The required fields "Company Carrier Name Abbreviation," "Company Code," "State," "Transaction Number," "Transaction Activity," and "Transaction Type" will be automatically returned.

The response will provide the CLEC with the features that are available for their end user.
