Responses from Verizon

When validating a service address by telephone number or address, Access Ordering will return either an exact match, an Address Search Range Result Set or a Multiple Address List.

An exact match will return:

  • SANO
  • SASN
  • SATH
  • City
  • State
  • Serving Wire Center - will appear in blue text
  • Local Serving Office (LSO) - will appear in blue text

An Address Search Range Result Set is returned when incorrect address information was entered. Validate the address with the end-user and resubmit. If the address is a commonly used description of the location (i.e., White House, Empire State Building, etc.), a Multiple Address List will be returned listing street address, floor and room information. Select the radio button for the location needed. Access Ordering will return a new Service Address Validation page.

Additional Information

Alternative Addresses - if the house number entered for the address is outside the range for a give street, or if the City entered is incorrect, Access Ordering will return a list of alternative addresses including any directional street information and AFT values.

Error Messages - will be displayed for incorrect or incomplete field entries. The field in error will be highlighted in red and a Field in Error Description will be included.

A listing of Service Address (ADVCFA Error Messages) is available on the Access Business Rules page under the Related Documents and Links heading.
