John Pricken

John Pricken is senior vice president, Sales for Verizon Partner Solutions. Mr. Pricken is responsible for growing a revenue stream of $10B annually for VGW. His responsibilities include: Sales and Account Management for all Domestic Wholesale channels including Emerging, Mid Market, Majors, Wireless and IXC/ILECs. Mr. Pricken is accountable for Sales, Sales Operations, Sales & Channel Strategy, Sales Process, Governance, Sales Support and Sales Technical Engineering.

Prior to this appointment, Mr. Pricken was vice president, Sales, a position he held since 2004 where he was responsible for growing $3.5B in annual revenues in the Majors Sales Segment comprising of LECs, IXCs, ISPs, CLECs, Independent Phone Companies overseeing Sales Strategy and Policy, Account Planning, Revenue Generation and Reporting, Account Relations, Channel Development, Sales Support and National Sales Operations.

Prior to joining Verizon Partner Solutions, Mr. Pricken was group vice president - Marketing, Sales and Service for Verizon Global Solutions Group, Verizon's business unit responsible for operating a global communications network linking the United States with major cities in Europe, Asia and South America. His responsibilities spanned Market Planning and Development, Strategy Development, Sales and Account Management and Customer Support and Service for International Carriers. He served as the President of Verizon Global Solutions International Operating Companies in addition to being Compliance Officer for the business unit. Since joining the company in 1986, Mr. Pricken has held various other domestic and international assignments, including management positions in wireless and wireline technologies, sales, marketing, business development, operations support, customer service and re-engineering disciplines. Additionally, he held international ex-patriot assignments in Belgium and Greece with Nynex Network Systems Company, an international operating company outside the US delivering regional and global network capabilities and STET Hellas, a national mobile operator in Greece, respectively.

Since 2000, Mr. Pricken has held numerous governance positions with the Pacific Telecommunications Council Advisory Board (PTC), the European Competitive Telecom Association (ECTA) and the New York Investment Fund Association. He is currently a member of the Sales Executive Council (SEC) Executive Roundtable organization.

Mr. Pricken graduated cum laude from Seton Hall University in 1979. He has also completed management programs in sales and marketing at Columbia University executive program. He is located in Basking Ridge, NJ.
