Senion Install

Introduction

The Senion Install app provides tools for a guided installation and calibration of the Senion Indoor Positioning System, a service available to business customers. The Senion Install app’s privacy practices are covered by the Verizon Privacy Policy, the Verizon California Privacy Notice and the Verizon International Privacy Policy as well as the practices described here. If there is a conflict between these policies, the practices described in this policy govern when you are using the Senion Install app.

Information that we collect and how it is used

We collect information when you use the Senion Install app and when you communicate with us. This includes your device geolocation when you permit it, which is used to calibrate the Senion Indoor Positioning System; your name and email address when you provide it when you set up an account; and the date of your last log-in.

The Senion Install app collects device location to calibrate the Senion Indoor Positioning System (Senion IPS), including through the use of Bluetooth and Wi-Fi scanning. This information is necessary to install, define, and calibrate the Senion IPS. With your permission, device location is collected even when the app is closed and not in use.  You can limit this background collection by denying collection, but you will not be able to install Senion IPS.

Your device location data is stored locally on the device unless you manually record data or upload log files in the app. If you do this, your user account data will be saved in that log file.

Information sharing

When the Senion Install app is used by employees of Senion IPS customers, we may disclose personal logs to our customers if requested.

Senion uses service providers, such as cloud services and IT hosting service providers, to help us offer, provide, repair, and restore services. We share information with them as necessary for them to perform this work for us. They are required to protect information they receive from us, or collect on our behalf and use it only for the purposes we allow.

When service providers are located in countries that do not provide an adequate level of protection, Senion ensures legal grounds for the international transfer of personal information through the use of Standard Contractual Clauses.
