Included in this file are directories that are not Verizon system directories. (NOTE: A system directory is the term used for a directory which covers a geographic area where Verizon provides local telephone service. Foreign Directory refers to a directory where Verizon is not currently a local exchange carrier but for which DexMedia LLC publishes a telephone directory. Foreign directories may or may not include a white page listing section).
The Directory Specifications files are provided by region and are fielded and ready for use. Click on a link below for to access the file for either Verizon North (NY/New England states) or Verizon South (Mid-Atlantic states):

Directory Service Order Codes
In addition to the Directory Specifications file, the East Directory Service Order Code file should be used when ordering listings. This file contains directory names and codes, as well as DAP codes for Verizon North (New York and New England), and White Pages service order codes for Verizon South (Mid-Atlantic). The file also includes the Telco Close and Publication dates for directories. Verizon West directory information is included as well.
