Overview
For services that include Ethernet connectivity, it is likely that you will have multiple dispatches to your location to install the different components required. In most cases, a Verizon field technician will come to your location to make the connection from the MPOE (Minimum Point of Entry) to your telecom room where the service will terminate. The LCON/ALCON must be able to provide access to the rooms in your building where work will be performed.

Checklist
The Verizon checklists contain detailed information to prepare your site for your upcoming installation. The readiness criteria vary based on the type of installation we will be performing for you. Please note the checklists match the technology by which service will be delivered to you and may not be reflective of the actual Service you ordered from Verizon. Generally, refer to type of handoff you are expecting Verizon to provide. If it is Ethernet, please see the Ethernet checklist. If it is TDM (time division multiplexing, DS1 or DS3), please select the appropriate checklist. Please note the distinction between DS1 copper and DS1 Fiber is based on the transmission medium internal to your building, that is the inside wire or conduit. If you are not sure of the type of handoff you are ordering, please contact your Order Manager or Account Manager.
