Pre-Order
Common Object Request Broker Architecture (CORBA) over a VPN net to net

The Verizon CORBA gateway is a CORBA-based interface to its Operational Support Systems (OSS). CORBA is the object communication standard promoted by the Object Management Group (OMG). For more information on CORBA and the OMG, please consult the OMG web site at www.omg.org.

The gateway serves as a way for CLECs to have access to the Local Pre-Order transactions available from Verizon's operational support systems. The CORBA interfaces used to access these services are based on the T1M1.5 IDL specifications for Local Pre-Order transactions.

This transport is available through the establishment of a VPN net to net connection. Client will provide Verizon with the Peer IP of the VPN appliance along with the remote host IP. For more information concerning the establishment of VPN net to net, please contact connectivity.management.team@Verizon.com
