The Xpress
Electronic Access (XEA) is the Verizon
East Primary Interexchange Carrier (PIC)
change application for submitting InterLATA PIC and
IntraLATA LPIC changes. You can also submit requests
for information such as Billing Name and Address (BNA),
Data Gathering which retrieves all PIC eligible lines
under a Billing Telephone Number (BTN), and PIC/LPIC
Database Verification requests.
The Customer Account Record Exchange (CARE) Industry
Support Interface (ISI) is the guideline for the processing
of Web based and Connect: Direct subscription transactions. XEA
also provides up to a 1-year history of PIC/CARE transactions
submitted by or provided to your Carrier Identification
Code (CIC) by either Working Telephone Number (WTN)
or Access Provider Order Number (APON).
XEA can be used via the web and/or via Connect: Direct protocol. The XEA
Application Home Page provides additional information
about XEA such as; the application for a user ID, the
user guide, Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs), hours
of operation, contact information, release information
and the link to login into XEA.
