 Bulk Pre-Qual by Phone Number |

This feature allows you to Upload a file using the link Upload Requests. Later after some time the result can be downloaded using the link Download Result.
With this feature DSL Members Only provides ISPs the ability to upload batches of up to 2,000 telephone numbers for qualification. Numbers submitted are matched against our loop qualification database. Results can then be downloaded to your computer. This feature can be used to qualify groups of numbers in support of direct marketing campaigns. Telephone numbers and results are exchanged through an Excel Spreadsheet. Results will be processed and returned in approximately 24-48 hours.
ISPs are limited to one active request of up to 2,000 telephone numbers (TNs) at one time. If batches above the maximum size limit are received, only the first 2,000 records
will be processed. Any excess TNs will not be processed or reported. Also, to protect performance, the system enforces a one-active-request-per-customer restriction. Customers wishing to process more, or larger, batches are invited to use our XML Batch Loop Qualification process. Please see your account manager or program manager for additional details on XML.
Although our loop qualification database is updated regularly, it is possible that results may occasionally be unavailable or inexact, for example for a line that has been very recently installed or disconnected. However, Verizon re-qualifies all numbers when orders are placed using the most current loop information. Use the Pre-Qual by Phone Number tool for more current results.
Submitting a Bulk Loop Qual Request:
Bulk loop qual requests must be submitted in an Excel spreadsheet. Excel 95 and newer is supported.
To create an input file, insert the telephone numbers you want tested in column A of the worksheet. All numbers must be ten digits and have no spaces or special characters. Up to 2,000 numbers may be entered. Save the file to a convenient location then select the Upload Requests link under Bulk Prequal.
Enter the file name in the box and press click on Upload, Your file will be uploaded to Verizon and scheduled for processing. Your confirmation screen will give you a Record ID number. Note this number, as it will be required when retrieving your request.
Retrieving Bulk Loop Qual results:
Results can be expected within twenty-four to forty-eight hours. Simply select the Download Result link and enter the Record Id. If the file is available, you will be given the option of where to download it. Results will be in an Excel format which you may sort or edit to fit your needs.
