Cartridge   3 of 3 (Subscription Services)

Cartridge processing provides the ability for your company to create batch record transactions in support of subscription services and mail the cartridge to Verizon for processing. Information that is being exchanged may be integrated into your company’s internal system/application for subscription and customer account information.

Business Reason
This process is most suitable for customers that may not want to set up Connect: Direct batch transmissions nor have their employees use computers with Web access to place / receive transactions. Since mail delivery of cartridge media, processing, and return of cartridge media takes at least three business days, the need to process data in a shorter timeframe should not be critical to their subscription business. For shorter elapsed processing time, customers should consider using our subscription Connect: Direct or Web applications.

Features
The Customer Account Record Exchange (CARE) Industry Support Interface (ISI) is the guideline for the processing of cartridge based subscription transactions. Transaction Code Status Indicators (TCSIs) used by Verizon can be viewed via our TCSI Look-Up tool. Learn more about TCSIs and CARE.
