Web   1 of 3 (Subscription Services)

Verizon offers a Web interface for subscription services. Processing via a web interface provides carriers with quick on-line access to Primary Interexchange Carrier (PIC) related information. Carriers can change / verify a PIC, request customer data, submit Un-PIC requests or view a chronological history of PIC-related events on a subscriber’s telephone number.

The Web application for Verizon East is called Xpress Electronic Access (XEA) Web and for Verizon West it is called Subscription Services (SS) Web.

The Customer Account Record Exchange (CARE) Industry Support Interface (ISI) is the guideline for the processing of Web based subscription transactions. Transaction Code Status Indicators (TCSIs) used by Verizon can be viewed via our TCSI Look-Up tool. Learn more about TCSIs and CARE.

System and Browser Requirement
The customer's computer must have internet access with Single Socket Layer (SSL) 3.0 compliant browser software - Netscape 4.7 or higher or Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher.

For SS Web, the user will also require a X.509 digital certificate signed by Baltimore Technologies, which can be obtained when they apply for an SS Web user ID. Customers using SS Web are encouraged to use Internet Explorer to take advantage of the enhancements provided with the November 2002 version of SS Web.

Customers can request access to our subscription Web applications from the application home pages of XEA or SS via the link “Apply for an account”. The appropriate contact information can also be found on the respective application home pages.

Hours of Operation
The operating hours can be accessed from the XEA and SS Application Home pages.
