Both TAXI (Trouble Administration XML Interface) and EBTA (Electronic
Bonding Trouble Administration) provide the customer the ability to Open,
Status, Modify, Escalate and Close trouble tickets electronically on Specials
and Switched Access circuits.
Business Reason
TAXI provides the ability to perform a machine-to-machine transfer of
information in support of Trouble Administration. Information that is being
exchanged may be integrated into your company's internal system/application
for trouble reporting and tracking. EBTA will no longer accept new
customers. All new customers desiring a machine-to-machine interface will
be directed to utilize TAXI. This process requires a project plan
with an infrastructure (hardware / software) investment made by the customer.
