TAXI Testing in the Trouble Administration Pre-Production (TAPP) Access Customer Test Environment

The CLEC Test Environment (TAPP) is a separate system environment used for testing with both new and existing Trouble Administration XML Interface (TAXI) Access Customers. These Customers are responsible for establishing and maintaining connection into TAPP. This environment will generally provide response times similar to production, but this environment is not intended for volume testing.

Verizon will work with each Customer to identify specific test scenarios in the Customer's test plan for processing in TAXI. Data will be sample data and may not be specific to each test account.

This testing is important to ascertain that the trading partner interfaces and interactions work to the satisfaction of both the Customer and Verizon and that no adverse operational impacts are likely to occur to other Customers.

Test Account Establishment

Verizon will work with each Customer to establish test accounts. A test plan will be established and agreed upon by Verizon and the Customer before testing begins.

Testing Process

Test Customers may submit test transactions into the Access Customer Test Environment from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM Eastern, Monday through Friday. Verizon personnel will be available to support the Test Customer during normal business hours 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
